Volunteering Efforts

Volunteer service has been a key component of the activities of SEBS since its inception. It has helped the organization carry out a wide range of socially beneficial activities in an inexpensive and effective manner. At the same time, it has brought the former students of BNKS together on a single platform. Above all, it has been an excellent way for the ex-students of BNKS to give back to the community.

The Volunteer Mobilization Committee (VMC) is a committee within the Nationwide Scholarship Program (NSP) that coordinates (facilitates, processes, and recruits) the mobilization of volunteers for NSP and its associated project, SDDMLP.

The Volunteer Operational Guidelines (VOG) provides the organizational basis for the ex-students of Budhanilkantha School and other interested individuals and groups to volunteer their time for NSP and SDDMLP.

SDDMLP Volunteers Contributions

• Processed about 1500 books for pilot routes in Barabise and Mahendranagar
• Entered data on the scholarship recipients into website
• Collected books through a book drive from various interested organizations
