Supporting Organizations

Kantipur City College (KCC)

KCC has pledged to provide at least three short-term computer trainings in Barabise for free. It has provided internet facility and designed the official website of the project at a very nominal cost.

Collective Campaign for Peace (COCAP)

COCAP has provided a resource person and had provided a venue for book cataloguing and book storage for the initial 1500 books.

COCAP will also conduct periodic auditing of the project accounts.

Nepal Credit and Commerce Bank (NCCB)

NCCB will transfer money from its main account to the project`s regional accounts for free and will provide the maximum interest on the daily balance (instead of the regular end of month interest).

Outré Design

Outré Design will design and supervise the construction of RCC in Barabise and Mahendranagar.

Room To Read

Room To Read recently provided 500 books and have pledged to provide more books as their shipments arrive.

Himal Media

Himal Media will provide 200 copies each of Himal Magazine back issues free of cost.

Nepal National Library (NNL)

NNL has provided technical assistance for the operation of library.

Buddha Air

Buddha Air transported a shipment of materials to Nepalgunj, the airport closest to Mahendranagar, free of cost.

Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya

Madan Puraskar Pustakalaya will provide significant number of books from its library.

Florida International Boarding School (FIBS)

FIBS has provided land for the construction of the RCC and also given the project office space until the RCC construction is completed. It has assigned a contact person to oversee the construction of RCC in Mahendranagar. They have provided other logistics for the project and guaranteed the continuation of the project for at least three years.

Local Support

The community (guthi) provided land for RCC construction in Barabise.

Shree Sharada Higher Secondary School

SSHSS have provided two rooms free of cost for the project office until the RCC construction is completed.

SSHSS will also provide a room in their resource building to be used as the project`s community hall.
