Training: Off Season Vegetable Production Training I

Date: Sep 1 - 3, 2004

Venue: Dhungepati, Dhuskun – 1, Sindhupalchowk

Resource Persons: Mr. Khem Prasad Oli, Ms. Lal Maya Oli, and Ms. Tulasha Dahal

Training Coordinator: DEPROSC Nepal

Eligibility: Representative of interested households having kitchen gardens with potential for applying the skills imparted by the training to enhance their economic activity     

Content: Nursery Management, Kitchen Garden, Principles of Vegetable Production, Factors Affecting Plant Growth, Application of Manure and Fertilizers, Winter Season Cultivation Practices, Principles of Off Season Vegetable Production, Diseases and Pest Control, and Practical Lessons.     

Participants: 18 F, 2 M, Total 20 (Twenty in Total); Local Community Members

Venue: Golmasthan, Maneswara – 9, Sindhupalchowk
