The Sustainable Doko Dai Mobile Library Project aims to supplement educational materials in villages through Doko (cane basket) mobile library services from Regional Community Centres (RCCs) established at Barabise, Sindhupalchowk and Mahendranagar, Kanchanpur.

Scholarships, Training programs and activities at RCCs are aimed to equip local communities with skills for enhancing earning potential and improving their living standards.

The project is being implemented by SEBS NSP in partnership with DEPROSC.

Leela is a resident of Gaddachauki, Mahendranagar and she attends Siddhanth Amar High Secondary School. She has 2 sisters and 2 brothers.

"Our family's financial situation is very weak and we used to sell vegetables to pay for my school fees. This scholarship has eased our family's burden."
